the implementation of an ECM solution in 20
guardianship associations across France. Set up by law, these organisations are designed to provide protection to people in a vulnerable position in society by acting as Guardians or Curators. Their assignment is to ensure the protection of these people by providing social support and administering their assets as a way of protecting and upholding their interests. I.R.I.S. has installed a comprehensive electronic document management solution that will allow for the simplification and administration of administrative and bookkeeping record files, as well as for the optimisation of the document processing procedures, whilst coaching the guardianship associations in their dematerialisation and document management projects ahead. The administration of the everyday affairs of the people enjoying the assistance of these associations comes with a considerable volume in paperwork to be processed. The development of new document processing and information management technologies stands as a great opportunity to facilitate the processing of the case files, whilst enabling the case workers and guardians involved to have every information required readily available to them .
