I.R.I.S. receives international IBM Beacon Award for Outstanding Virtualization and Consolidation Solution
Louvain-la-Neuve, 28 June, 2010 – Out of 600 nominations submitted from 45 different countries, I.R.I.S. ICT was awarded the IBM Beacon Award for Outstanding Virtualization and Consolidation Solution. This award is a major recognition from IBM worldwide, of the outstanding technical excellence and of the innovative solutions provided by I.R.I.S. ICT, based on IBM products and services.

The award was announced at the Information on Demand Conference (IOD) in Rome, Italy, on 18 May, 2010.

Awarded annually since 2000, the IBM PartnerWorld Beacon Awards recognize IBM Business Partners for their technical excellence and innovative solutions based on IBM products and services. Beacon winners were selected by leading industry journalists, analysts, and IBM executives for the 21 award areas as leaders who focus on deep skills and solutions. Only 5 European companies got an award, next to others from the United States, India, Israel, Brazil and Thailand.
