IRIScan Book 3 comes with a full-functionality OCR
software package (Readiris), so you can convert the text zones of the documents you scan into
editable Word, Excel, or PDF files.

The Readiris software included lets you convert the scanned documents into indexed PDF files thanks to the powerful OCR engine that converts the text from the image into indexed text. Searching for information in a document becomes quicker and easier than ever: no more time wasted on reading the whole document!
The wide colour LCD screen on the top of the scanner lets you display a preview of your scanned documents. It also lets you adjust all the scan settings, and tells you the battery charge level and remaining memory capacity.
The IRIScan Book 3 scanner has a format selection button, for you to choose between PDF and image (JPEG). You can also select the resolution (300, 600, or 900 dpi) and quality (colour or black and white). What’s more, you can adjust the settings directly from the scanner, without the need to connect it to a computer.

choice! Scans are stored in the IRIScan Book 3 memory (MicroSD card included). When you get home,
