I.R.I.S. announced the upcoming release of IRISPowerscan™ 9, a complete professional solution to scan, structure, sort, index and convert all documents into fully searchable text files, that can later be exported - keeping the indexed information - to document management systems such as Microsoft SharePoint.
- Batches of documents are scanned with the high-speed scanner
- The documents are separated based on white page, barcode, OCR or ICR information
- Indexes are generated automatically based on barcode, 2D-barcode, OCR or ICR zones
- The user can perform a complete quality control of the scanning and indexing
- The batch of document is exported to IRISDocument™ Server for SharePoint
- Full-page OCR and image compression with iHQC™ is performed by IRISDocument™ Server
- Multiple documents format can be generated simultaneously by IRISDocument™ Server
- The documents in the various formats and the complete indexing are exported to Microsoft SharePoint or other document management solutions

Pricing and availability
IRISPowerscan™ 9 will be available as from June 19th, 2009 for international distribution through various I.R.I.S. channels.
