Robert Blessman, Chief Information Officer, ATG was well aware that his system storage space was nearing its capacity. “We were getting ready to invest in some very large and expensive storage drives,” says Blessman. “If we didn’t implement the I.R.I.S. iHQC™ software solution we would’ve spent close to $40,000 to update our current system architecture with new storage and backup drives just to handle the sheer volume of historical data we have on our network now.”

According to Blessman, most of the files were in a TIFF format, which at one time was easy for members to open. “The problem we have now is that all of our members are working with different platforms,” adds Blessman. “These platforms feature an open architecture and are no longer automatically configured with viewers that can read TIFF files. We needed to convert our files into a new universal file format that could be easy to download and open.”
