I.R.I.S. and Arguz Servicios have been awarded on January 25th, 2007, the Kodak Breakaway Application 2007 Excellence Award along with its end user partner, Pemex. The award recognizes the partnership for its significant business achievements and organizational results through the implementation of innovative Kodak Document Imaging products and services.
I.R.I.S. and Arguz Servicios teamed up to bring life to the Project Paperless Office which goal was to develop a paperless workflow within Pemex, Mexico’s leading oil provider and the largest company in Latin America, utilizing OCR software and hardware technology to develop PDF files, replacing all paper documents for the company’s nearly 25,000 corporate employees. Since the project’s inception, Pemex has purchased more than 1,800 Kodak scanners powered by I.R.I.S’ flagship software, Readiris Pro Corporate Edition, to continue driving the success of the project.

Project Paperless Office has enabled users to electronically archive documents, saving the time and money previously reserved for manual archiving and storage of paper documents. Once the documents are scanned using Readiris Pro Corporate Edition, they are stored on the network where they can be easily retrieved by all users. Documents are categorized according to topic and importance, simplifying daily workflow for all users.
