The “Publications” web site allows you to review, download and order all the brochures published by this Directorate General (Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities) since 2001. The brochures are listed by subject and by year of publication. You can order them by contacting the InfoCentre of the Directorate General or through the EU-bookshop, the online catalogue of publications of the European institutions.
The purpose of the project was to migrate an old version of the site (written in cold fusion) to the Web Content Management system of the European Commission (based on EMC Documentum). This migration was divided into two parts: content (texts, introductions, links) & technical (XSLT)

The Health and Consumer Protection Directorate General of the European Commission manages alert systems to provide rapid information exchange between Member States and the Commission about measures taken in case of danger to the health and safety of the consumers. At the request of this DG, I.R.I.S. Solutions & Experts initiated the development of a generic engine: GRAS (Generic Rapid Alert System), that allows the management, validation and distribution of alerts. The system implements business processes associated thereto by handling several document types. Specific RAS (Rapid Alert Systems) are rich web clients built on top of the GRAS platform. They include specific functionality related to Food & Feed alert processes, non-Food alert processes, Biological and Chemical Agent attacks alert processes and exchange of information on general product safety.
