I.R.I.S. DocCenter is an Electronic Document Management software suite offering huge archiving and storage capacities. The data is made available on shared drives, via the Internet, or stored on specific storage supports

Product description

The document database accepts all types of documents and files such as paper documents, text files, color images, multimedia pages, Web pages, etc. The paper documents are converted into TIFF images or PDF files using a high performance acquisition software package. Automatic imports and exports can be performed in all standard formats.

Beyond electronic data storage and archiving, I.R.I.S. DocCenter offers all features for efficiently and quickly organizing the whole document system. The application comprises easy-to-use encoding facilities as well as fully-fledged reference cards (“Index cards”) used for the indexing : fields with lists of items or keywords are available for capturing the required data, various techniques are available for converting the images or part of the images into editable text such as the “OCR on the fly” , “OCR Automation”, etc.

The application is provided with an integrated search module - searches are carried out via the Explorer or by introducing definite search criteria – and with an easy-to-use Web interface enabling remote search and consultation via the Internet. The system is configured with different types of access, depending on the client’s specific needs. An integrated messaging system ensures direct communication among the users.
