The Asian OCR “add-on” complements Readiris by extending the language support. Install this optional module and you can read the Asian languages: Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Korean with Readiris.

Technical specification
- The Asian OCR “add-on” does not modify the system requirements of your Readiris software
- This extra module takes about 20 MB of hard disk space
The Asian add-on is not yet available for Mac OS.

Hebrew add-on

The “Hebrew OCR “add-on” complements Readiris by extending the language support to include Hebrew. This add-on it’s optimized to support the Hebrew alphabet (link) composed by a limited set of 27 symbols.

Technical specification
- The Hebrew OCR “add-on” only works on version 9.0 of the Readiris software.
- This extra module takes about 10 MB of hard disk space
- Only available for Windows operating system: 98/2000/NT/XP
The Hebrew add-on is not yet available for mac OS
