The I.R.I.S. Academic Site License Program is your key to the world of contemporary document management thanks to OCR, file generation (with optional PDF hyper-compression).
I.R.I.S. developed a series of personal tools allowing users to perform those operations autonomously, regardless of network connections. Those solutions are optimized for fast and easy deployment, and light CPU usage.

Based on I.R.I.S.' Intelligent High-Quality Compression technology (iHQC™), IRISCompressor™ is designed to convert a standard document image (color or black & white uncompressed formats, JPEG, JPEG 2000, PNG, TIFF, image PDF, etc.) into a new color or black & white indexed PDF document of much smaller size (up to 20 times) which is fully compliant with any PDF viewer.

Readiris™ 14 is a text recognition software that performs all your tedious retyping work in no time. Simply scan any document with your scanner, recognize it with Readiris™ 14 and within seconds you have a fully editable copy of your paper document in your favourite word processor, spreadsheet application or in one of the many available output applications, including Cloud services such as Evernote™, Box.net, Google Docs™, Dropbox, SharePoint® and Therefore®.
Readiris™ 14 works with scanned paper documents, PDF files and image files.
