Readiris™ for iPad® is fully compatible with I.R.I.S.' cordless mobile scanners: IRIScan™ Anywhere 2 & IRIScan™ Book 2). No power supply or network connection needed: just scan, import the images into your iPad® with the Apple Camera Connection Kit™ and process them using Readiris™ for iPad®.

Hardware Minimum system requirements
- A free USB port
-Installable on any operating system that supports mass storage protocol (Windows®, Mac®, Linux®, Unix®, etc.).
-Works without installing any driver.

Minimum system requirements for Windows®:
- A USB Host port (USB 1.1 or 2.0)
- USB mass storage protocol must be supported by your OS
- An Intel® Pentium® based PC or equivalent is recommended.
- 128 MB RAM is recommended to process grayscale and color images
- 300 MB free disk space
- A DVD ROM drive and a free USB port
- Windows 7, Vista®, or XP (32 & 64 bits)

- A USB Host port (USB 1.1 or 2.0)
- USB mass storage protocol must be supported by your OS.
- A Mac® computer with a G4 processor.
- 260 MB free disk space.
- A DVD-ROM drive and a free USB port.
- MAC OS® X version 10.4. and higher.

* The IRIScan Book can scan any type of documents. The conversion to editable format must be done with Readiris Pro 12.
This OCR software can convert paper documents, images and PDF to editable format.
Printed characters can be recognized accurately . Cursive hand writing recognition is not supported.*
