Overview

I.R.I.S. offers technologies to read printed information (OCR), numeric and alphabetic handprinting (ICR), bar codes, forms, highly specialised banking fonts OCR-A, OCR-B, E-13B and CMC-7 (MICR) as well as technologies to preprocess images, to output the recognized informations into different file formats (txt, html, rtf, PDF, ...). IRIS also proposes Intelligent Document Recognition (IDR) technologies to analyse the content of the recognized information and provide tools to quickly index or grab the right information that is needed.
