Product description

Based on I.R.I.S.’s unique pen scanner, the IBR incorporates proven recognition software, tailored for highly accurate reading of financial documents. The basic principle is simple, scan the optical line of a cheque, bond or coupon and the data is immediately entered into the application, as if it were typed in. Should you wish to do so, you can even hear the recognized data being read back to you thanks to the in-built speech synthesis.

The IBR allows decentralized data processing in the office environment. Different types of data can be read: the specialized banking or “MICR” (“Magnetic Ink Character Recognition”) fonts OCR-A, OCR-B, E-13B and CMC-7, all common bar codes (including the symbology Code 128 widely used by the financial sector), handprinted numbers and “omnifont” printed or typed information.
