I.R.I.S. intelligent High Quality Compression technology™ is designed to convert standard colour images into highly-compressed PDF files with searchable text while maintaining the same image quality. Your PDFs will only be a fraction of their original size even with the searchable text.
The colour image is encapsulated in the PDF file along with the searchable text. It can be viewed by anyone, anywhere on any platform.
An intelligent imaging algorithm determines the different components of the image (background, foreground, text, lines, etc…) and applies different compression strategies for each of these components. This ensures the optimum compression to achieve a highly legible document with great image quality.
